Excellence Playa Mujeres is a 5 star hotel in Cancun. The resort, which opened in 2007, is an adults-only romantic resort nestled on 3 km of powdery white sand beach. Here, everything is taken care of and nothing is left out. There are 450 rooms in total. It is air-conditioned and has a lobby, 24-hour reception, 24-hour check-in/check-out service, 24-hour room service, currency exchange facility, cloakroom, lift access, a café, hairdressers' salon, auditorium, games room, TV room, a number of restaurants, conference facilities, Internet and WLAN access, as well as a laundry service (subject to fees). There are 11 different bars located throughout the resort. Parking facilities are available to guests arriving by car. Younger guests are sure to enjoy the playground and kids' club (the latter subject to fees).

I have to say that I've traveled to many places and stayed in many nice hotels but this one is has to be the best so far. From now on I'm staying in an Excellence resort. I'm just waiting for the one in Jamaica to open up and I'm there next year. Don't take my word for it, take a trip and head over there and you'll love it.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were top-notch, the service was impressive. For the little extra money you spend compared to other cheaper Cancun hotels, this one is worth every penny. Top of the line in every area. Will go back.

We just got back from a short stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres north of Cancun, Mexico.
This is by far the nicest all inclusive we have EVER stayed at!!!! The rooms are to die for!!! So modern, hip, romantic, and clean. LOVE the bath in the room and the shower is HUGE and the water pressure is GREAT!
The pools are amazing and there are so many pick from!
The beach is quiet and lovely....take a nap on one of the beds...it is fantastic! POOL BAR lots of fun! Wide variety of interesting people to meet at all the amazing bars! Food was good, drinks were great, and service was fantastic!
Go for Romance & fun...you will not regret a minute of it!

I would highly recommend this resort to others. Couples, honeymooners or any couple celebrating something would have a wonderful time. The grounds are amazing and the rooms are just as the appear on the sites. Rooms are clean and so are the grounds. No dissapointments other than coming home. LOL. Food is good and service is good too. Our favorite restaurant was the French place, Chez Issebelle. We had a great anniversary celebration and the anniversary decorations they placed in our room were nice too. I would recommend you use the resort's service back and forth to the airport. We did and were happy with it. The weather was great the 5 nights and 6 days we were there. It did storm one day but for a few minutes and the sun was still out. The main pool with the swim up bar by the Lobster House was our favorite.

Yes, we would absolutely recommend this hotel. The lazy river pool was awesome. The spa was one of the best I have ever been to. I got a massage and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was very good. I can't think of one reason not to go back!
