Yes but beware of the heat that lurks in the elevators.

Have been vacationing in Cancun for 20 years at our timeshare resort. This year after a four weeks stay at our tresort we needed two extra nights before our flight home. We have been "burnt" with accommodations outside our resort. But, Wow! were we pleasantly surprised at the Hyatt Regency. The room was awesome! Great ambiance. The ocean view from our room was spectacular, entire facility was very neat and clean, the breakfast buffett (included with the room) was one of the best in Cancun, location is absolutely perfect for access to night life, and the staff--desk clerks and bellhops--were attentive to our needs. The price was exceptionally competetive. We will spend more time at the Hyatt Regency when we make our next yearly visit to Cancun.

Would recommend this hotel to others, clean, modern and good service. The only downside is that there's no direct beach access so you need to walk through a couple hotels before your on the beach. We did not select the all inclusive and the room came with breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic; eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, breads and so forth. It keep us full throughout the day. The hotel is located near some resturants and shops as well.

Booked this at the last minute and was pleased with my stay (although only one night). Staff was friendly and helpful, Rooms were good size, clean (flat screens tv's were nice touch) . Hotel amenities such as bar, rest, pool, patio, were very nice (although you have to use the fitness center at the resort next door - free of charge). All in all would definitely go back.

If you are looking a for a nice hotel this is a great place. The front desk staff was very rude. They would not help us in anyway. They seemed put out when we asked for things. The bell staff was wonderful. They made out stay better.

The accommodations were very nice and clean. Staff was decent. My only complaint would be the nearby nightclubs. Cocobongo and other mega clubs are a few blocks away. They are loud enough that we could hear them from our room until after 4 am. Overall, as long as you can sleep through a bit of bass music, it's a very nice value. We were on the south side of the building. The music may not be as bad on the north side of the building.

No real complaints- the hotel has a nice lobby and the rooms are in good shape. AC wasn't working the first night, but when I told the front desk they came and fixed it promptly. Not fancy, but comfortable. No real beach at the property, but there are decent beaches within a short walk. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet, even for me as a vegetarian/vegan, was very good, and it was nice to start the day with a full belly and not have to worry about food until later in the day. Good coffee. Short walk to shopping/food/nightlife. Nice pool areas during the day and outdoor patio area in the evening. All in all, not spectacular, but worth the money, especially at about $115 for 2 people including all taxes and breakfast.
