We were very pleased with this hotel. The ammenities that were included (i.e. pool, continental breakfasts, microwave, refrigerator, large bathroom and WIFI) were much better than we anticipated for the price. The staff were VERY informative and helpful as well as kind. Our only complaint was the shower-My husband is 6'8" and the shower head only sprayed to armpit height on him. The heads were not height adjustable so he had to shower on his knees. Other than that, it was a PERFECT stay!

This hotel was significantly less expensive than the other hotels around Chicago. It was an adaquate place with a decent breakfast. We had to stay in another place for one night that was more than twice as much and only slightly nicer. The people were very nice and helpful (except for that one night screw up). This hotel was a bargain and I would stay there again. If you need to go to downtown Chicago either take the train (about 3 miles south) or give yourself plenty of time and patience.

I requested a smoking room, but there were no ashtrays. I ended up quitting smoking before the trip, so it was ok that there were no ashtrays, but if I wasn't given my choice of a smoking room, it surely smelled like an ashtray. The hotel itself was really cold, but the heater in the room worked really well.
I also requested a single queen or king size bed, and I got two double beds. Oh well, you can't win 'em all.
WATER PRESSURE! There really wasn't any.
Bed was a little hard, but I expect that from a hotel. And they should have told me that they had a shuttle for guests to go to nearby places, as there are no cross walks, and a lot of traffic.
It was near a lot of good places, so it seemed to be a good hotel with super friendly staff. I would recommend it, but make sure the guests assert their opinions.
