Had a wonderful time in the heart of the shopping district. Westin was an excellent value. Excellent accommodations, quiet even tho our room was accross from the elevator. Heavenly beds are as advertised. Bathroom was large. Starbucks coffee in room. Parked accross the street on Walton and saved $20 per day. Try Tempo for breakfast. Signature Room on the 95th floor of the Hancock Center next door for great dinner with a killer view.

Not one of the nicer Westins I've stayed at, but very nice nonetheless. Enjoyed our stay. Great Location and comfortable room.

The location of the hotel is great. Right next to the John Hancock building and in the middle of downtown. The staff was nice and I would recommending staying here.

I love Westin hotels, but this Westin is not well managed. The location is fantastic. The hotel and rooms are typically Westin, though the rooms are on the small side for a Westin and very poorly lit. The management is the problem. We arrived late at night and the first room they took us to was dirty (bes not made, dirty towels on the floor.) We had to go back to the lobby, it took them 20 minutes to find a clean room (no apology given for taking us to dirty room.) When we woke up the next morning we found that we didn't have soap or robes. It took 15 minutes for housekeeping to pick up the phone and another 25 minutes to get soap, which made us late that morning. Later that day, I tried to speak with a manager but was he/she was in a meeting. The weekend continued in the same manner. I like the hotel, I hope they can get their act together.

I would recommend this hotel to others. The location is excellent...right on Michigan Avenue near shops, restaurants and the lakefront. They were very accommodating...we were able to check in early and check out late. The bathroom had a huge vanity which was nice. My only complaint is the $46.00 that I was charged to park my car overnight...obnoxious!!

I would recommend the Westin Michigan Avenue. The location was fabulous! Next to the Handcock Center, Shopping, Oak St. Beach and lake front path, and great restaurants and night life. The staff was friendly and responded promptly to requests. Parking was pricey, but that is due to the prime location.
