The [hidden] Hotel, located on Chicago's Michigan Avenue, overlooks Grant Park and Lake Michigan and is in the heart of the cultural core of the city. There is plenty of good shopping a short drive away, and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to the shopping area. The rooms are very comfortable, with specially selected beds and are incredibly well equipped for both business travellers and tourists alike and there are executive and suite guestrooms, for those who want a little more luxury or work space. There is also a Hilton In-Room Fitness Program, for a fee, where you can opt for a treadmill in your room and a service where you can check out via your tv. There is a full business center, an excellent athletic's club and a large selection of restaurants, serving a wide variety of food. The staff are helpful, polite and friendly. It's worth asking about extra charges for facilities on check in, so there are no surprises on your bill at the end of your stay.

Good size room with two bathrooms (just one person!!) - could see the Sears Tower from window with a bit of neck straining!. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good location opposite Grant Park though there are more central hotels if you wish to be on the Magnificent Mile for shopping etc.
Tip - shuttle bus back to the airport - $25 ; get the blue line train instead - $2!
Overall happy with stay and would recommend.

The hotel suite was absolutely magnificent...much more than I expected. It was clean, updated, quiet, and overlooked Grant Park and beautiful Lake Michigan. My friends reserved rooms on their own and paid twice what I paid for rooms that weren't as nice as mine.

We found the 'hidden' hotel to be in the hub of what was happening...parades, weddings, short walk away from museums and any or all attractions. The staff friendly, accomodating and even gave us an upgrade when they did not read Skoosh's reservation correctly!
