This was my second stay at the Palmer House Hilton I found it the most delightful experience and the location is ideal for night life and retail therapy. Once again thanks to Skoosh my holiday was great.

Major renovations underway. State street entrance blocked and hotel bar & restaurants closed during construction. Teenage girls attending function ran up and down halls on 17th floor thru late evening requiring us to request a room on another floor so we could get some sleep.I don't know what other guests did for relief.

I know they are in the process of renovating the hotel. Currently it is a bit tired looking. The rooms are very big and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. The location is great.

There was a city wide convention going on and I couldn't find a hotel. I even called my sales contact at the Palmer House but was told they were oversold. Skoosh was still able to get me a reservation as the Palmer House at a very good rate.I only became anxious when I called the hotel the day before and they didn't have my reservation yet. However when I contacted Skoosh - they ensured me my reservation was set and that sometimes the hotel doesn't enter your name until arrival. However this made me anxious since I didn't want to arrive in a city with no hotels left. Skoosh was able to get me my confirmation number the night before I left. I called the hotel to confirm they had my reservation and that I was all set, and it was confirmed! I had no problems checking in - remember to bring your VOUCHER as the hotel will ask for this in order to confirm the rate! To my surprise and delight, my room was upgraded to the concierge level, which had free cont'l breakfast and reception food. My room was very narrow, but very pretty, very clean and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. I would definitely use Skoosh again, great service and great value!

Very comfortable and good value. Annoying though to have to pay $13/day for Internet access. Can't remember last time that wasn't free in a hotel in which I have stayed. Also, in room coffee was bad, even by usual hotel standards, which is not a very high bar.
