Reviews Of Comfort Inn and Suites Downtown Chicago, Chicago,

My room was very small but had all the amenities. However, the other couple in our party had a room twice the size for about the same cost, so there may be a little luck involved. About half the rooms were the size of mine and the others were more spacious.

Nice, clean hotel. It maintain reminders of the charming architecture of old, but not dark, dank, decaying, and dreary as some downtown hotels can be. Decent value for the money. I would recommend.

Yes, the rooms are typical "old city" sized, but still comfortable and clean. I'm not sure when there was a refurbish/remodel, but perhaps recently, as fixtures, decor, and overall condition are still looking great.

The lobby is charming with a fireplace. Staff was courteous. Continental breakfast was decently "continental."

Parking is available immediately next door for $25 per day, but there is no direct entrance from the parking to the hotel lobby. Car entrance is right by the hotel lobby, but the pedestrian access is around the block.

Great Location for a great price!!! Free continental breakfast had a wide variety of foods. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was in a great location. However, there was poor communication between the hotel and this website, as we were given a different room then we had reserved. We were told there were no other rooms available. The manager was very helpful and made some adjustments allowing us to receive the proper room we had reserved.

I would definitely recommend it. Great location, in the middle of everything. Friendly helpful staff, good amenities. Probably don't want to stay too many consecutive days, since rooms are a bit small, but what you had was very functional, like in Europe. The view is laughable, very old and dirty brick walls to look at, with just a hint of what the weather is doing above. But this can also work for you, since lack of daylight and noise makes sleeping dark and relaxing.

Overall definitely worth it.

Good value hotel - rooms pretty basic but clean and tidy (and air conditioned thank god!).
The room I had was also fairly small, but there are larger ones available. Continental breakfast spot on.
Location also excellent - couple of blocks from Michigan Ave and if you walk to the end of Ohio St you hit the beach!

Clean, seemingly new hotel. Excellent location. Reasonably priced.
