Looking for the great location, in a great city? Then look no further than Hotel 71. The location at 71 Wacker Drive and Michigan is wonderful. Go south to museums, go north to some of the best shopping in the world and restaurants abound. The rooms are nice but not over the top. The price is excellent. But, what makes this a 10 is the staff. They are helpful, personable, and service driven. |

We found Hotel 71 to be very convenient, the people nice, the room very large, and good linens. Loved the scent of their soaps. The accommodations were a little worn, but not terrible. Overall a great bargain for the location! We'd stay there again. |

The hotel had a great location, not far from the L and right on the river with a spectacular view (if you upgrade to face that direction). The room itself wasn't anything special, and the TV was ancient. However the view was spectacular and we didn't spend much time in the room so the TV wasn't a big deal. The bathroom was nicely sized and the staff at the reception desk was extremely friendly. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodations with pleasant views but don't expect anything spectacular and don't let the hotel's web site pictures fool you. |
