The property is a modern urban boutique on Wacker Drive and located 12. 8 km from Midway Airport and 28. 8 km from O'Hare Airport.

The Hotel 71 was an excellent value

I would definitely recommend to others. The size of the room - we were at the end of a hallway- was very large. The staff was amazing - very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. The only negative was the quality of the beds - rather uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Very good value; great location on Wacker just off Michigan Ave. Our expectations were exceeded.

Great location
Room service was very good
The views of the river are awesome!
Great value for the money
There are some floors that they have recently remodeled - floor 14 has tv's in the bathroom.
The rooms are very spacious.

Quite basic but clean

We checked in thinking it be a little more than your basic boring standard hotel (since they advertise themselves as a boutique hotel) but that's pretty much what we got. Kind of no frills with the exception of getting shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. The room was large and clean so that was good. The TV could used some updating if they want to come off as a modern hotel. We didn't spend much time in the hotel so it served it's purpose as a place to sleep and shower.

The location was great. View of Chicago's Riverwalk was beautiful. Walking distance to pretty much everything but then again, my friend and I walk a lot.

Staff is excellent-friendly, helpful welcoming. Great river view. Very clean rooms. Great location in the city. Cool old hotel setting. City parking exspensive. We will return.

Perfectly good time at Hotel 71

I would definitely recommend Hotel71. It was clean, rooms were spacious & nice.

Staff was friendly, our room was cleaned daily no matter what time we left. Didn't have to wait terribly long for elevators because there are 2 for bottom floors & 2 for upper floors.

The hotel is very centrally located. Only thing I would have liked is to have a fridge and personal safe in room.

Also very happy with purchasing in advance through skoosh, got the room we were promised at a good price!
