Very beautiful hotel, great staff, great restaurant/bar, comfortable beds, early check in (to a handicapped room), great continental breakfast (pasteries, fruit, coffee, tea), pizza & library across the street, Panera 2 blocks away.
BUT
The room did not have a desk or office chair, was cramped with 2 king beds, the clock and both lamps were unplugged, I found a huge amount of debris and a condom wrapper (I stopped looking at that point!) behind the bed while plugging everything up. The free internet worked about 5% of the time. The bathroom door wouldn't stay put. Water flooded the floor of the marble bathroom, sewer smell in the halls, the loudest heat vent ever, but it did drown out the hall and street noise. 1 hour late check-out without charge. poor lighting for reading and working.
