We were extremely pleased with our decision to stay at The James Hotel in Chicago, IL. We stayed a total of 5 nights. The hotel decor was very modern and tasteful. Not over the top, just right! The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Our room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The room was cleaned thoroughly each day and the beds turned down each evening. The hotel bar and restaurant were great! We had drinks each night at the bar, dinner one night and breakfast twice at the restaurant. We were truly impressed when we came to have dinner just before the kitchen closed. We were seated and treated wonderfully even though we were "the only" people in the restaurant. BRAVO!

great hotel within walking distance to everything, fantastic room service, even for your beloved pets.
whatever you need at whatever time of the day/night can and will be arranged. it has the feeling of a new york trendy hotel but without the nyc attitude, the rooms themselves have comfy beds and bedding and the mini bar is well stocked and not insanely expensive

We would certainly recommend it to everyone... Great location, wonderful service, great amenities, professional staff that is very service oriented. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The decor is gorgeous, staff is unbeatable. Concierge was incredibly helpful, time and time again. The gym was well equipped and breakfast was divine. Even the toiletries were fab!
