The rooms were small and bathrooms were old

no, the bathrooms were old and small. The second room I had on the 6th floor was weird, with the sink in the bedroom, the low ceilings, and curtains everywhere. Did like the location and did like the bar area.

+ 42 inch flat screens, cool hotel, great location, free internet, free coffee in the morning, small workout room - no newspapers or in room coffee.
Overall, great stay.

The Sax was a great place to stay

The Sax is an older hotel that has been completely updates to a really nice botique hotel. The bar off the main lobby was really impressive with it's classic decor. The room was well appointed and decorated. It was convieniently located about a three minute walk from the CTA Blue line to O'Hare. I would reccomend staying there.
