The Drake was a wonderful and visually stunning place to stay for our anniversary. Centrally located to so much shopping and dinning there isn't even a reason to take a cab. The view of Lake Michigan from our room was beautiful. The value was superb considering the great deal we received from Skoosh.com and we were blown away by the service and committment of the staff. Overall I don't think that there is one thing that my wife or I can complain about. A wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Definitely would recommend. It is an older, stylish hotel with good sized rooms. Excellent value for price through Skoosh, met expectations fully.

This was my first stay at the Drake Hotel. I was very disappointed with the room overall. I'm not sure if I was given the smallest room in the entire hotel based on the deal through Skoosh but it certainly appeared to be. The bathroom was very small and dirty when I arrived. The toilet was cleaned after I contacted the front desk. There really wasn't any way to control the heat in the room. When I called to have the heat adjusted they offered a fan. The common areas in the hotel were beautiful, but overall stay was a disappointment.

Classic hotel with (in our experience) a staff who are on a mission to make you feel special and truly looked after.

Location is acceptable - close to historic water tower, mag mile and shops.

Hotel is a classic hotel with history, however it is maintained to high standards, sympathetic to its herritage.

Room was spaceous, clean and extremely comfortable.

In hotel restaurants did not fit our bill, but then Chicago has vast numbers of great eating houses. There were no in-room menus to the hotel restaurants, however, without requesting the hotel staff ensured we had menus hand delivered to our room within 10 minutes.

We are likely to return to the Drake.

We stay at the Drake every Christmas holiday season.The location is perfect for mag mile shopping, the down pillows and comforters luxurious and the staff always courteous. This year we had a fabulous view of Lake Michigan. Holiday tea at the Palms restaurant in the hotel was wonderful and festive with harp and Christmas Carolers.
