I would definitely recommend this hotel to other. I was very impressed with the location, it was great to be close to everything. I was also impressed with the service, the size of the room, and the bed was very comfortable. I definitely felt that I got my money's worth. My expectations were definitely met.

The Whitehall Hotel is a really nice place with an excellent location. The staff from the frint desk, bellman, maids were all very nice and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean. We asked the maintenance man to check our A/C unit as it seemed very warm when we first got to the room, and by the time we returned everything was perfect. The only "ding" against the room was that some of the ceiling paint in the bathroom was peeling (easily remedied). The beds were very nice with soft bedding and plenty of pillows.
If you want to stay somewhere ultra-close to the Mag. Mile that is very comfortable, clean, and a really good value, I could recommend the Whitehall.

very disappointed - roo9ms are small , bathrooms miniscule - hotel needs complete refurbishing - no decent diningroom for breakfast - however it's in a great location and the price was reasonable. Would not stay there again nor recommend it.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, and had a lovely bathroom w/ amenities. The restaurant and bar downstairs offer great wines and grub. My disappointment was with the service of the concierge and front desk. They were not friendly or accommodating, and at times didn't seem that they knew the offerings of the hotel. Also, my husband and I were awoken at 3:30AM by an alarm clock that apparently had not been turned off by the previous guest - or room service. For the price & rating of this hotel, we would have expected a bit more attention to detail...

This was excellent value for the money - in fact it was a "steal". Considering the excellent location, and great service, we got to stay in a really nice hotel for the price we would have paid for a cheaper hotel outside the city. This hotel met and exceeded our expectations.

We were pleased with our accomodations. Our room wasn't ready at check-in time, but once we got to our room we were satisfied with our accomodations. We felt the price of the room (through Skoosh, of coures) was very reasonable. The location in downtown Chicago was very good. We would recommend the Whitehall to others.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely furnished and very clean. This hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area close to the beach and shopping. I would recommend staying here for the price we got on Skoosh.com, but felt it was a bit pricey at the normal rate.

Our stay at the Whitehall was very positive! The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The pillowtop bed was wonderful after long days sightseeing, and the location is perfect. We'll definitely return on our next trip to Chicago and recommend it to our friends!

Overall, vry good value for the money. Although showing wear in some public areas (doors, carpets), the room was nice (although small), bed comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Location outstanding. Only surprise was that valet parking was $39/day after seeing a lower price in the property description. That said, $39/day is not out of line for downtown Chicago.
