The location, atmosphere and extras make this hotel a great place to stay on a beach vacation. We had a suite, giving us ample room to prepare meals and relax without everyone being in one room. The only downside to this hotel was the noise. The hotel was very noisy - and this was not even a peak time of year. Music from the outdoor bar played loudly until 11pm and you can hear everything that your neighbors say and do. However, we ended up drowning out the noise with our air conditioner - constantly. It was cold, but quiet.

I have always stayed at this hotel when in clearwater beach. It was taken over by holiday inn from ramada. It is great. There is a fridge and microwave in your room. The bathroom is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. You are a 5 min walk from the white sands beach. The restuarant Jimmy's iguana house has excellent food and service and inside and outside seating. I would definately stay there on my next trip to clearwater.
