Modest hotel clean and a good level in relation to price. Street so noisy at night (people walking and public transport every few minutes (which is fabulous kidney), but with a closed window can not hear anything and you can run an air conditioner.
We ordered a deluxe room for the hotel and we asked for high floor when we arrived at night to the hotel (flight egg late) hotel was fully booked and the room was available it was Hswith, so they brought us Suite and it was of course no additional charge, although the price for suite was 5 times more.
Strongly recommend that the hotel room absolutely excellent, and prices when ordering one month - two months in advance is relatively good (all Copenhagen happen).
If you want to look water can be found at 4.5 kronor (bottle costs 3 additional kron can be returned afterward).

The rooms were a bit run down but the people working there more than made up for the rooms. The breakfast was included and one of the best we have had in Europe.

The staff was helpful and had an accommodation for me when I arrived early. It is very close to most of what people want to see in Copenhagen. It is a bit dated but the building is old. The wall-to-wall red carpet in the lobby was thread-bare and needed to be restretched to get rid of the uneven wrinkles in the carpet, that is a safety hazard. The room was not air conditioned and seemed to keep the heat even with the windows open wide all day and night. There was mold in the grout around the shower/tub area and along the tiles in one area along the floor. The fixures like the tub, sink and toilet were clean. The towels were very thin but they did their work well enough. The standards in the US are considerably higher. This accommodation would be the equivalent of a Hotel 6 at$49/night.

Don't stay on the side overlooking the street. Noisy bar all night long.

Hotel Kong Frederik is a european style hotel so the rooms are small but they are livable. I was suprised with the quality of this hotel based on the nightly rate. It was far better than I expected. the hotel is close to central station and within walking distance to everything else in Copenhagen. I highly recommend this hotel.

I must have had the worst room in the house. Others in my party were happy with their rooms. My view included a roof, an escape ladder and air conditioning ducts- little else. The room and bedding smelled bad. The refrigerator smelled like rotten eggs. The bathroom tile was cracked and the sink leaked all over the floor. My suggestion- if you book at this hotel, make sure you spend a little more and get the deluxe room with a view.

Rooms were very small. Shower dangerous - had to stand in a hip bath which would be difficult for many. Breakfast not included and no free tea and coffee as in many other local hotels. Clean and comfortable. Not good value for money.
