Despite its excellent location, we were so disappointed when we arrived, we almost moved hotels even though we had already paid! Our room was small and cramped with a dismal view, and the fusty smell remained throughout our stay. Dark corridors, spongy carpets, generally unhelpful staff (there were some exceptions), an erratic lift. We did get used to it, and did have unlimited hot water, comfortable beds and a reasonable breakfast. On balance, the accommodation was adequate, but we would not choose this hotel again.
