Restored to its original elegance in 1993, The Conch House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and truly embodies the distinct character of Key West Architecture. The Conch House has an ideal location in the heart of Daytona Beach. The front desk is extremely friendly and on this particular trip gave me a choice of rooms. On a previous trip, I had to leave a day early and they actually refunded my money for that day. The rooms are very basic so don't expect anything fancy but most rooms do include a small fridge and microwave. My room was lacking an iron and the front desk wasn't able to provide one. The carpets are old and probably need replacing. The showers have low water pressure so expect to take a longer shower. Overall, if you want to save some money and be within walking distance to everything, the Conch House is your best value.
