Shores Resort And Spa is a 4 star hotel in Daytona Beach. What to expect: A bubbling fountain in the center of this casually styled lobby, surrounded by lush foliage and comfortable seating areas, provides a cool, beach-friendly welcome to arriving leisure guests. The lobby bar and restaurant offer spectacular views of the pool and Atlantic Ocean. Evenings, guests gather in the lobby to play board games, listen to the piano, or enjoy the view.

Amenity highlights: Beachfront kiosks offer watersports equipment rentals, including personal watercraft and parasails. The hotel provides beach toys and sand pails (surcharge). An outdoor free-form splash pool and spa tub overlook the beach. Exercycles, stair machines, and Universal machines are available at the fitness center; a signature spa offers full wellness and beauty serivces. Beachfront dining is both indoor and outdoor. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel (surcharge).

Insider tip: Cars are allowed on the beach at Daytona. Car access to the beach is located next door to the hotel. Speed limits are strictly enforced.

The famous Ladies Pro Golf Association championship golf courses—the Legends and the Champions—are within 12 miles of the resort. The Champions, designed by Rees Jones, was the first course ever designed specifically for women.

Very impressed with hotel grounds. Staff was very friendly and helpful, check-in was very fast and uneventful. Location and beach were absolutely awesome. Would def return and recommend to others.

I love the atmophere of the hotel. Prompt service and with a smile. The only downfall was the expense of food and drinks. Outrageous would be a good description. If you plan on eating elsewhere and just having a drink at the bar or tiki then you will be totally satisfied.

This is a great resort, rooms are large and plush. the staff are extra friendly and helpful. This is a pet friendly hotel and staff were great with my little Maltese. There is a park right next door for great beach side dog walking. Restaurant and Bar are pricey - $12.00 at pool bar for a glass of Pinot Noir! They do have a drink of the day for $7. The only surprise was that I prepaid on Skoosh, yet on day I checked out there was a $15.00 resort fee daily charged! So be prepared.

HIghly Recommended! Efficient check-in and we were upgraded to an ocean view room right from the start at no addt'l charge. Excellent value from skoosh. Room was great, and grounds nice. No parking fee was nice . Resort fee of 15$ a day was reasonable. considering we did have wireless internet as well. No complaints at all-- except that the drinks and food are extraordinarily expensive. More than a Four Seasons or Ritz! Ouch. Outside of that- no complaints!

The hotel was a nice place, we had a few issues with our first room after saying something to the hotel they moved us to another room. We didnt care for the pool to much, it was a salt water pool , which we were not use to.
