D4 Ballsbridge Court is a 4 star hotel in Dublin.
Undoubtedly Dublin's most prestigious hotel, the D4 Ballsbridge Court, with its mix of luxury, charm and distinguished tradition is the natural choice for visiting dignitaries and the many celebrities who visit Dublin. Located in the heart of the very fashionable Embassy Belt the sumptuous public areas have more than a touch of eminence and the extremely plush bedrooms ensure that this hotel continues to offer the most comfortable stay in Ireland. The Ballsbridge area on the south side of Dublin is packed with bars and restaurants and is only minutes away by frequent public transport to the city centre.
this hotel was very dissapointing. The valance sheet was dirty, the cups in room didnt match, handle of drawers, only 1 pillow each , the floor which we were on smelled damp. over all this is not a 4STAR Hotel and i would not recommend it.

Stayed at the Berkeley Court (now Ballsbridge Court) a number of years ago and it was an impressive luxury hotel. Most recent stay showed a hotel living on past glories and in need of a lot of modernisation. Maybe it was just because of the excellent rate gained on Skoosh (£60 cheaper than hotel site) but room was very basic, only three pillows, very poor shower. Breakfast was just OK, fry was alright but a poor choice of breads, no fresh melon/grapefruit/pineapple. OK at this price for a bed for the night when that's all you want.

excellent staff throughout the hotel. Maybe lost a few of the old touches that made it a real 5 star in the past, however still got the bit of charm , still nice decor ,food and drink. worth the reduced price your now getting it for in Dublin. No Dressing Gown or slippers or mini bar anymore, only a few toilitries but if you think your getting it a a good price then worth it ,although ,remember, like most of the hotels around Ballsbridge you will prob use a taxi (which are lined up outside the hotel ) and will cost you about 8 euro into town centre
