The bar and public areas were great including the breakfast. Rooms a bit tired and not the best view. It is a taxi ride to the city costing about 8 euros or 1.90 on the bus form over the road

Well situated
Comfortable rooms

46A bus from O'Connell St stopped right outside the hotel which was very handy. Staff in hotel helpful and pleasant to approach. The value meal in restaurant was good value and the breakfast which was included in the price was fantastic. Would definately stay here again.

Various reviewers have mentioned that the hotel is a little run down, and although the main lobby and bar have been made over, I have to admit that the room could have done with a bit of TLC and a lick of paint! On the positive side, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the local area is charming (and only a 20minute or so walk to central Dublin), and the all important breakfast was very good! Overall, it was good value for money and I would go back.

The hotel is in a great location to get around the city but without the hustle, bustle and noise that goes with it!. Very welcoming staff who were great at their job but not intrusive. Iimmaculate rooms, clean and with lovely cotton bed linen. We ate in the Bellini Bar one evening which offered great value dining in comparison with eating in the city or nearby restaurants with slick service and great atmosphere. Booking through Skoosh saved us over £90 on a 2 night stay and would certainly recommend others to try this hotel as we will certainly be going back.

In /Dublin for Paul McCartney concert so things would have to be very bad to put us off. Check in staff very helpful and friendly. only thing I would have a problem with was our booking was for a double room and only room available was a twin room, Location excellent as was breakfast,

I visit Dublin each year and have stayed at several hotels now. This is the first time at the Burlington and this is definitely now my favorite, especially in terms of value.

The room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean. I'll ask for a room away from the elevators next time though. The internet wasn't very fast, but good enough for emails. Service was excellent, the only exception being the service at Bellini's Bar, which was terrible (but I'm sure that it's normally fine).

We got off to a bad start at the 4 star Burlington. We were told on arrival that the rooms had been overbooked for the period of our stay. Despite the fact that we had booked and paid 3 months in advance, because of being an internet booking we were top on the list to be transferred to a 3 star hotel nearby. Our complaint was not well dealt with initially until the manager was informed. He apologized and offerd us a two day stay at no charge when more rooms became available after the conference we were attending had concluded. Although this did not compensate for the inconvenience and loss of opportunity to network with colleagues during the conference at the Burlington, it at least acknowledged a failure on the hotel's part to fulfi its contractual obligation to us. Otherwise, the Burlington is well deserving of its 4 stars.
