Charleville Lodge is a lovely place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life .I was on my own but got a very comfortable twin room .I was first down for breakfast and it was very satisfying. I was down in Dublin for a football match Coleraine FC were playing in the nearby Dalymount Park against Bohenians FC .I walked to O'Connel Steet in 15 ninutes and combined with a free car park I will certainly come back to visit with my wife .

Would recommend to anybody who wishes to stay there for only a couple of days, we stayed for 2 nights which was enough. Staff very friendly and breakfast good but if you are at the front of the hotel it's very noisy, we asked to move which they did without a quibble. It was good value for money, I didn't expect much considering what I paid. I got what I needed, good night sleep (apart from 1st night when we asked to change rooms), good breakfast with tea and 24 hour reception so there wasn't a problem coming back late.
