Good value, in a quiet convenient location. Friendly staff with good transport links.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on 19th and 20th August 2011. The room was clean and tidy but a little bit uncomfortable as the air conditioning didn't work, it got very hot in the evening and we had to keep the windows open - we were at the back of the hotel overlooking roofs of the buildings behind and noisy streets! We didn't complain as we were only there for 2 nights but we would have had to say something if we were to stay longer. There was a price list for the room on the inside of the wardrobe door(!) that stated £300 per night for 2 people or £600 for a single person! There is NO WAY we would have paid that and if we ever go to Dublin again we wouldn't stay at the Gresham. Only worth it at discounted price and for a few days!

stayed here for 2 nights for takes that concert! staff were friendly & helpful & location was excellent, right in town centre, plenty of shops & places to eat, short walk away from temple bar area & also just a 10min walk away from croke park. I had a standard room which i found to be very basic & in need of a bit of a make over, but thats just me. it was clean though. i am glad i got the deal on Skoosh, it was much better value than other websites & hotel website.. i think if i had paid what other places were asking i would have been expecting it to be really fancy and probably been a little disapointed. irish breakfast in hotel is far too expensive 19 euro! so i would say to go to a cafe or something. Good stay :)

A Great Place To Stay

A really great place to stay. Wonderful location up O'Connell Street and perfect for walking, catching the tram, the DART or getting anywhere. We'd definitely recommend it to others and will stay there again. Good value for money. Only disappointment was the first room we were put in looked onto a wall three foot away. Were moved immediately to a room with a better view, but in this room the air conditioning was broken and the entire room could have done with freshening up and redecorating. Staff were wonderfully helpful, but check the prices in the bars/restaurants/room service before ordering. Looking forward to going back there next time we're in Dublin.

I would recommend to a friend but warn them about reception check in females bad attitude. The concierge in the day and evening were so helpful and the room once we got the right one was very clean and comfortable. I was disappointed due to the fact online you could book a double room or upgrade and pay extra for a queen/king room which is what i did. When I got to the hotel we was put in a shabby double after showing yet again my paperwork and an attitude from reception we got moved to a queen size which I had paid for . Once moved to a decent room yes expectations were met but nightmare for first few hours could of done with out. All other staff very friendly and helpful dublin is fantastic and so are the people. x
