We have recommended the hotel to others already. It was good value for money and the food in the restaurant was devine. Our expectaions were more than met by the hotel and its staff. The only criticism I had was that something needs to be done at the bar when food is being served. There was no control on where you paid and people were left standing at the bar with their food getting cold while others were getting served drinks at the bar.

The Maldron Hotel was fantastic. We stayed Valentines weekend and treated ourselves to the Hotel restaurants 3 course special which was £30 but- out of this world, just incredible! The waiters were so friendly and helpful which made the meal all the more enjoyable. Buffet breakfast was included- plenty of choice and great value for money.
The staff were extremeley warm and helpful upon our arrival- we arrived before the 2pm check in so they allowed us to store our bags at the hotel while we went and explored the city.
The city centre [main shoppin area] is a nice stroll away [15mins walk] We'd recommend crossing the first bridge and walking along the right hand side of the river for more scenic views.
The Maldron Hotel is immaculate, beautifully furnished in an ideal location with warm friendly staff- would definitely reccommend! x

My friend and I went to see Bill Bailey at the O2 in Dublin and booked the Maldron Hotel. I am familiar with the Maldron chain and was not disappointed. It's a great location for any event at the O2. Room was nice and the breakfast was great, and was served up to about 12 which was a bonus. Would recommend it.

It was of a high standard as you would expect from a 4 * hotel. My only disappointment was the distance from the centre of Dublin. It was about a mile and no buses en route, so it either means walking or taxi which is expensive. Also it is a bit run down with a lot of building work going on around the hotel at the moment. However I would recommend it as the area seems to be improving.

I would recommend the Maldron to others. The staff were very friendly and helpful apart from a couple of the foreign staff at breakfast who didnt seem interested in serving us. Accommodation was very good...new, modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent. As we had the special deal of stay 2nights and the 3rd is free it was excellent value for money. Would certainly stay there again when in Dublin
