This hotel booking was rather disappointing. Firstly, the information online was actually for the Mercer Hotel - the parent hotel across the road and not for The Mercer Court, which is more like student accommodation. .There were also problems with our booking as the hotel couldn't "find" our booking when we tried to check in. There were also at least 2 other couples who had similar problems at the same time as us. When we were checking out there was a commotion at reception about 2 different guests being given the keys to the same room and one guests' luggage being removed from their room and put into storage while they were out! I would not recommend this hotel apart from the location.

I must say it was a great place for the money given the prices elsewhere in Dublin. However, it IS a dorm room. We were transported back to undergrad days. It was actually much nicer than the dorms at our university....

Location was absolutely fantastic for us! Enough out of the extremely touristy areas for us.

Staff is college kids so don't expect much but they were nice to us.

All in all, it was a pretty good stay considering the money!

This hotel has two kindly girls whom help us to guide everything. If I choice again, I still have this hotel.

The shower was ridiculously low pressured. But the bed was nice, location was great (right in the center of the south side), and the service was good.
