The apartment we booked during the X-mas period was situated in James Court on the Lawn Market and suited us extremely well, situated in the middle of the Old Town. What with the X-mas atmosphere around in Auld Reekie and the cosy room we had we can look back to a memorable stay. The service Castle Appartments offered was good and when we asked for another heater because of the cold it was promptly delivered. Worthwhile coming back to Edinburgh another time!

Castle apartments has a GREAT location! We would recommend it to others. Two things people should know who rent the flat is 1, you have to get the key at a different location, which sounds a lot worse then it was. It wasn't too far of a walk from the Waverley Train Station to get the key and then on to the flat. 2. The spiral concrete steps to the flat could be overwhelming due to the steepness of the steps. Our flat was 64 steps up. I'm not saying these items are bad, something folks just need to know. Otherwise it was a very quaint place to stay with all the amenities.

Overall, we really enjoyed our flat and would do it again!
