One of the finest hotels in Edinburgh, this city hotel was built in a classic and sophisticated design, and makes no compromises when it comes to comfort. It consists of 100 rooms on 4 floors. . The facilities include a lobby, a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom, a conference room and an Internet terminal. The bustling bar and brasserie has recently been comprehensively renovated and refitted with its original luxuriant furnishings - leather couches, candlelight and wrought iron details creative a romantic and seductive environment. This award-winning, stylish hotel is situated at the waterfront of the Port of Leith. The Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh's new commercial centre, is also the home of the royal yacht HMS Britannica. The Scottish Executive and a wonderful selection of boutiques and restaurants are just a few metres away, making the perfect place to stay for business travellers and holidaymakers alike. Princes Street and the historic heart of the city are just 5 minutes away by bus (connections every 15 minutes). The conference hotel has its own gym and puts on a wonderful entertainment programme.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Malmaison Edinburgh

Lovely room really comfy bed . Pillows and duvet are feather which although lovely I am allergic too quick call to reception and within 5 mins everything was changed which was fab. Staff fab especially in the dining room and bar, Food gorgeous. Pleased we chose this hotel as with the tram/roadworks in the city most hotels seemed to have roadworks outside. Bus service just 5 mins away is 24hrs making visiting the city easy. Lift we decided had alzhemiers as it seemed to arrive at the floor and then you needed to press button again to remind it to open the door to let you in :) Keep us entertained. Shall definately come back.

The grand boutique hotel

The room was exceptionally well furnished, thoughtfully designed and spotlessly clean. The staff were efficient and unobtrusive. The food was very good. It was great value for rmoney and we would highly recommend it. It was much better than we thought it would be.
