Room was small and very average. We loved the location, great view of the castle. We had food in the hotel twice and found it to be very good, and served HOT!!
Staff were very courteous and helpful.
If you just need a place to stay this is ideal.

Very pleased with size of room and facilities and enjoyed breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was position of room because a disco was positioned the rear of the hotel and the raucus noise continued till 3 a.m. causing lack of sleep!

Clean, good location, friendly staff. Perfect for what we needed - which was nothing fancy. Only downside is no on site parking.

Another nice stay, in a room with a terrific view of the city. Pleasant, friendly staff and decent rooms. Ideal for business or holiday visits, unless you are expecting 5-star luxury.

The very convenient location was the main selling point, right opposite Waverley station on Princes Street. The room and service was fine. We didn't really try the rest of the facilities, although my taxi driver in Manchester, who had stayed there frequently, warned me about the quality of the food. A bit of noise from late-night revellers but you can only expect that in the city centre.
