The hotel is right in the heart of Florence and a very good value for money, recommended for both leisure and busines travellers. The hotel is located in the very historical centre of Florence, close to all main monuments and the Congress Palace garage service, parking service and very close to the bus line. This is an actual Florentine palace built in 1500, the former home home of Pitti. It was changed into a hotel in 1800. The lobby is in keeping with the remainder of hotel. Bonciani Hotel has 130 rooms and all have air conditioning, mini-bar, radio, colour TV, and all modern comforts. The Queen rooms have a queen style bed and can accommodate a max of 2 people. Very comfortable however space is restricted.

As of July 2011 Florence is introducing a new city tax to be paid by the guest to the hotel directly prior to their departure. This will be charged up to a maximum of 10 days, per person per day (excluding children under 10 years old). The tax rate ranges from € 1.00 per day for a 1 star hotel to € 5.00 per day for 5 star hotels.

great location, but needs renovation

the location was great, but the hotel itself is in desperate need of a renovation. the price was right but some things were broken in the room...it was perfect for us because we just passed through florence for the night on our train journey. free wi-fi in the lobby, 4euro ok breakfast. just needs a serious overhaul
