Porta Faenza is a 3 star hotel in Florence. The 18th-century Porta Faenza Hotel is located in Florence 200 metres from Santa Maria Novella Station and within 600 metres of the Duomo. Florence Vespucci Airport is five kilometres away. The reception area has a bar and lots of commen space and a pleasant breakfast room. All the 25 rooms are nicely furnished and with ensuite bathrooms. All have sat TV, direct-dial phones, air conditioning, minibar and safe box.

It is conveniently located near the central train station of S.M.Novella, and just steps away from the Conference Hall and the exhibition grounds of the Fortezza da Basso. A very valuable asset in the city centre is the hotel's private garage, charge €15 per night. Free Internet and E-mail access from 8 am to 12 pm to all guests.

This was a very nice hotel in a very convenient location at a very good price (at least throught skoosh). Our room was BIG but dark. The room itself had some really nice amenities (for example, the light in the bathroom wouldn't get bright when you flicked the switch, but would when you were in there for a couple minutes - which is nice on the eyes in the middle of the night). The concierge was very helpful, the breakfast bar was good (although have them make you a cappuccino, the coffee was not up to snuff). Free internet in the lobby, inexpensive minibar. All in all, a lovely stay.
