We really enjoyed our stay at the Harbor Beach Marriott. The pool area was nice and the pool service was excellent. The buffet in the restaurant Saturday night was top notch. I accidently left my camera in one of the stores and the Lost and Found department shipped it to my home. The smores in the lobby were a real treat. I would highly recommend a stay at the Harbor Beach Marriott.

Excellent location...walking distance to marina, restaurants, bars, shops, etc
pool area was perfect--lagoon shape with waterfall. shallow end for kids AND deep end near waterfall was quiet for adults.
Private beach was clean and easily accesible.
private cabana reasonably priced--great option for one day rental.
poolside bar with great music--a bit pricey...but good food and service.
clean hotel---perfectly CLEAN. Great ocean view rooms-updated and spacious.
Hotel staff--some of best we've ever encountered.
Lobby entertainment really great!

Negatives:
1. poolside food/drinks pricey...could offer 1/2 sandwich for 1/2 the price and be completely satisfied...drinks were lacking some alcohol for the cost.
2. workout facility really BAD...why even bother having it?
3. for the price, couldn't some of the "extras" be included:
internet service, 1/2 price parking, shuttle?

The hotel was great! Beautiful beach and nice pool. The rooms were very modern and clean. The staff were also nice. The only thing is you really have to eat off the premises of the hotel unless you want to pay a lot in the hotel restaurants. Otherwise, I give it a 5 out of 5 for rating.

Good large hotel with friendly staff. Beach great, poolside perfect for children with canteen like service. Basketball court, exercise room, and tennis courts great for those who have the energy to release. Shops and spa well equipped. Everything there for a nice getaway. Only twenty minutes from Fort Lauderdale airport.
