Surrounded by tropical palms, this property is located in the heart of Galt Ocean Mile. The Ocean Manor Resort is possibly South Florida's best-kept secret. It is one of a limited number of Fort Lauderdale hotels, which actually sits right on the beach-not across the street from it. The hotel is an oceanfront property located 10 miles from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. Twenty three miles of smooth sand and crashing waves. Twelve major shopping malls and countless specialty shops, from the exclusive Las Olas boutiques to the World's largest indoor flea market, you're sure to find anything you seek.

Ocean view dining is offered at Gambino's Italian Restaurant. The Ocean Manor Resort also features nightly entertainment in their lounge and guests will appreciate the oceanfront Tiki Bar. The Ocean Manor Resort also has an oceanfront, heated, swimming pool with a spacious sun deck located just steps from the beach. This is just the perfect place to relax in the sun, surrounded by the heated pool and the beautiful blue Atlantic.

Each room has been completely remodeled with hardwood floors or ceramic tile. In addition, they all have new furniture and pillow top mattresses. You may choose to have a spectacular view of the ocean or the twinkling skyline of the City of Fort Lauderdale. All of the standard hotel rooms are equipped with small fridges and microwaves, cable TV with HBO, private bathrooms.

-Our room was great! It was on the corner of the building overlooking the pool and ocean. It seems like it was one of their newly remodeled rooms, with a mini kitchen and brand new bathroom with walk-in shower. Very clean, and our housekeeping service did a great job each day. The only thing I didn't like was that there were no phone books or hotel guides that listed the restaurant hours, menus, housekeeping numbers, how to dial out, etc. We also had two double beds instead of a queen or king, but after the first fiasco with the rooms (they originally gave our room to someone else), we didn't want to go and switch, plus I was afraid to see what the non-remodeled rooms looked like! -The beach and pool area were fabulous! Chairs cost $3 and umbrellas cost $10, and you have them all day.
