Rooms have been recently remodeled and were acceptable. There is an onsite restaurant which was fine for us. The shuttle from the airport and to the cruise was great.

The place had a "truck-stop" feel about it - rooms were not particularly inviting and the bathroom in the room was quite dirty looking. The high-point however was the adjacent restaurant - the food was very good both tasting and price wise. We weren't expecting much and certainly didn't get it.

It was really a one star place not a two star positive : nice size room shuttle driver friendly
negatives: toilet ran had to fix it ourself asked for wake up call - received no wake up call and either did others waiting for airport shuttle lucky we had phone alarms set noisy soda machines did not work ripped carpet would not advise staying pay a little more and get a better hotel/motel

We chose the Red Carpet Inn for the shuttle service from the airport and to the Port Everglades cruiseport. The airport shuttle worked out very well. However, the following morning the shuttles for the cruiseport were not adequate to handle the number of people who needed transport to the ships. The rooms were unremarkable but reasonablly priced for the area.
