Cristal Hotel is a 3 star hotel in Geneva. The Hotel Cristal is a comfortable and modern hotel in the centre of Geneva. It's located only steps away from the main train station, and not far from the lake, the main shopping areas and sightseeing attractions of Geneva. Its unassuming entrance on the Rue Pradier opens out into a bright modern reception area, with shiny marble floors and mirrored walls. Behind the lifts is a large and bright lounge area with ample seating. On the other side of the reception you'll find the breakfast room, which is large bright and spacious. You can choose to have the buffet breakfast when you are at the hotel, at an additional charge.

Rooms are modern, and simply furnished with clean lines, and all the comforts you'd expect in a good quality three star hotel. These include cable and pay TV, telephone with wake up call service and internet socket, airconditioning, hairdryer, minibar and safe. The roughcast walls lend a homely edge to the simply styled rooms, and the double glazing serves to keep out any noise, but in any case the rue Pradier is reasonably quiet. The hotel doesn't have its own parking facility, but there are public ones close by.

NB. All rooms have en suite facilities.

clean, large, simple room. 24 hour reception. large selection of breakfast. 1-2 minute walk to train station, which is around the corner. there are quite a few people out at night so my wife and i felt safe. good value. would recommend.

The location is perfect, near to the stations, market & the lake , however I think they need to put new carpet !!!.

We were three persons so the room needed one extra bed nevertheless, I was sleeping on that bed , you want the truth I didn’t like it much cuz it was just opposite the bath room in far corned & no air condition reached there so I felt so hot !.........

Anyway ….it may happen to me only ………don know but I think the hotel management have to think to relocate the beds in the rooms otherwise it was ok

Good location. However the hotel backs onto a carpark and the thumping music and noise from the pubs and clubs below dont exactly promote a great nights sleep. I found the room somewhat dirty and damp.

I think you should check this hotel again. Your description of 'reasonably quiet' was not my experience. I had a back room, 211, and there was loud music on Sunday night from a bar overlooking the square. After it closed there was loud banging of car doors in the square itself , the base of the shower unit was chipped and the breakfast was poor. Full marks, however, for location.
