The lobby was very attractive and the desk clerk who handled our check in was very nice and informative. However, the room was excessively small -- really tiny -- with no room at all to walk around. The bathroom was also very very small. The location, with city bus in front, was very convenient and the airport shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful.
When we arrived 2 weeks earlier we had stayed at the Movenpick Hotel, same location, for $50 more, as our tour company had insisted. The room was more than twice as large and the bathroom also was gigantic in comparison, with 2 sinks and a bidet. One would have thought that the Movenpick cost twice as much instead of $50 more.

Nothing has changed at the Ramada since 2003 proving that it's a reliable option. Room was clean, comfortable and had a minibar and dated television. I had a corner room with benefitted from the additional sunlight. The air conditioner worked and was cool at a steady temperature throughout the stay (a definite plus for Geneva). The buffet breakfast was included in the price and was generous. The Cyber Center offered 30 minutes free internet per day; paid wireless in room. While public access to town is easy (the bus stop is in front of the hotel), it’s a bit more time-consuming if you’re going to the United Nations and its agencies (e.g, WHO) since it’ll require changing buses 2-3 times. There are a couple of restaurants around the hotel but this is a lifeless part of town. Free shuttle to airport (5 minutes away). Worth the 220USD per night.

A few comments - I booked a Queen sized bed and was given a Twin upon check-in. The staff did correct this when I went down to inform them.
The elevators are old and are in need of repair. The room and bathroom were sufficient. Breakfast buffet was great!
The shuttle bus to the airport is very convenient and the staff professional. This is a convenient and satisfactory hotel.
