The Eliott is a 4 star hotel in Gibraltar.
Right in the heart of town, the Elliott Hotel is a modern hotel with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere and a high degree of comfort. Its entrance is on tree-lined Governor's Parade, just off Main Street, making it an excellent base from which to explore Gibraltar Town's attractions. Owned and operated by O'Callaghan Hotels, the Eliott has spacious and comfortable bedrooms and friendly staff. From the 8th floor rooftop - a peaceful retreat with a heated pool, sauna and fitness room – guests enjoy a fine view of the Bay of Gibraltar. The Verandah Lounge serves light lunches and afternoon tea, and is also the ideal place to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, often with live music; it has outdoor seating in warmer weather.
The Palm Court and alfresco Victoria Gardens Restaurants provide sophisticated dining from à la carte and table d'hôtel menus with both Mediterranean and traditional British dishes. The large bright rooms have individually controlled air-conditioning/heating and have a bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV and in-house movie system, free safe, trouser press and facilities for making tea and coffee. The Elliott Hotel has connecting rooms and some for guests with special needs; these should be pre-booked. Junior suites with a sitting-area, the Victoria Suite for honeymooners and the large Trafalgar Suite with 2 bathrooms and a separate lounge are available at a supplement.

It was good value for the money, since we really got a good deal through your agency. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend it. We had a nice room with view of the Rock. It was quiet and the room had everything we needed, also possibility to make our own coffee, tea etc. For us it was especially comfortable, since it was very close to the Jewish life (restaurant, synagogues, bakery etc.). It had a manual key for the shabbat (Saturday). A pity we did not know we could have asked for a kosher breakfast as people in Gibraltar told us later. It was clean and well maintained.

The best located hotel in Gibraltar as it is located one street back from the old town main street. Woke up to a fantastic breakfast with great views as well. The room could have done with a bar fridge and exhaust fan didn't work. This are little things we got over quick. The staff were very friendly as well.

The main reason we booked the hotel was the car parking. The drive to the hotel was through the narrow, winding back streets of Gibraltar and on arrival the car park was very small for an hotel this size and cars were double parked. The hotel staff were not too helpful with this problem and while I was temporarily parked a receptionist drove in and blocked me in. The porter confirmed that staff also used the car park which had maximum 30 places.
The hotel is also quite run down and a bit shabby.
Will try another hotel in Spain next time.
Not recommended.
