We arrived on a very busy weekend as the hotel was full of football supporters and rock music fans but the service was faultless. This hotel is modern, clean and in a lovely spot right on the river. Also, booked through Skoosh it was great value for money. I have stayed in a few hotels in this city and I would have no hesitation in saying that this is one of the best.

I thoroughly enjoyed the city inn glasgow, the room was lovely as was the staff, only disappointment, after arriving to find our room wasnt booked was the size of the room, pictures online make room look much bigger than actual size but apart from that we had lovely stay and would recommend going and will be going back

Location is excellent for the conference center, but requires taxi for everything else. Room decor is black and white modernistic with designer electronics, space is limited and bathroom has no bathtub. Service is excellent, and the breakfast has good selection and quality. This is an excellent conference hotel, but other hotels in this class. like Menzies offer a warmer atmosphere and better location.

Stayed there as was attending concert at SECC, which is literally 1min walk away.
No problems with check in. Room really nice, very modern decor with flat screen tv, dvd player, stereo etc. Nice hot power shower. Items in mini bar reasonably priced.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent, full cooked breakfast made to order. Veggie option included sausages. Waiting staff very friendly and polite, couldn't be better.
Would def stay there again and would highly recommend.

We stayed there on a Friday for a concert at the SECC. The hotel is nicely finished off. The rooms are nice but quite compact. We opted for the pre-concert dinner, which was £18.95 for 3 course. The food arrived very quickly and we had 3 courses within 40 minutes. The food was OK. In summary, we would stay there again, due to it's close location to the SECC and good standard or rooms. Perhaps eat somewhere else though!

The rooms and overall standard of the hotel were very good. It's the ideal place to stay if you're attending any events at the SECC as it's a 5 minute walk if that to the exhibtion centre. However it's a little too far away from the city centre itself.
Breakfast was a little disappointing and if you go when the hotel is busy you'll have difficulty getting a seat at breakfast straight away as the restaurant doesn't seat very many.

We stay at the City Inn often if the price is not too high. The rooms were getting a bit 'tired' but they are in the middle of a refurbishment and are back to their old standard. The hotel is well placed and the river view rooms are particulary good.

Nice enough hotel. Quiet and peaceful. Rooms clean bright and modern, but the only negative comment I would make is that the double room I was allocated was quite small. Albeit with a nice comfy double bed. I would return though.
