Great central place to stay. Very handy for Buchanan Galleries and bus station but surprisingly quiet. Bed room nice and clean but decor in bathroom a bit tired. Reception staff very welcoming but bar very expensive and service rather slow.

A great hotel if you don't know Glasgow well. You are right next to the bus station, parking is really easy across the street and the train station is just around the corner.

Reception area and bar was great for meeting friends and very close to a wide range of restaurants, their own looked great, but we didn't get the chance to try it this visit.

The room we stayed in was quiet and clean, if not a little smaller than we're used to. Not sure how comfortable it would be at the height of the summer (no obvious aircon), and don't expect a great view. This is central Glasgow.

The quality of the rooms is not minimalist chic, but rather sparse and cheap. We switched rooms because the first room we were give looked directly into an above-ground parking garage and the shower and sink were clogged. The second room, while an improvement, had advanced mildew in the shower.

Negatives aside, the location is ideal for both walking to the tourist sites and taking the Glasgow Flyer to the airport. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful.

minor flaw - wash basin faucet is so stylish it ceases to be functional

I was a little disappointed in lANGS HOTEL. Initially the room seemed very nice and clean, however, I thought on closer inspection that the bathroom was grubby as was the breakfast room. Saying that the stay was "Fine", the reception staff were very helpful and the location could not be faulted. The price was also very reasonable given that the breakfast was priced at £12. I completed the customer satisfaction survey detailing my slight complaints and have just received a very nice letter back from the hotel, so i think that alone will ensure I gave the hotel another visit.
