We would highly recommend this Hotel for anyone going to a gig at the SECC, you really can not get any closer to the venue if you tried....brillant!!

Room was lovely, Bar was nice, staff friendly and helpful, evening meal was ok but not great! Buffet Breakfast is Excellent value for money and has HUGE selection.

All in all we had a great stay here and will definately be coming again!

Booked this hotel when going to see a show at the SECC. Couldn't get much closer. Couldn't fault the room which was very clean and adequate for what we were looking for. Bathroom fine with a good shower (although bathroom door didn't lock). Hadn't booked breakfast but were able to pay for one in the morning. It was £6.95 but it was an all you can eat buffet (cereal, fruit, coldmeats, breads, croissonts, fruit juice, tea/coffee and a good selection of cooked foods). The only downside we found was it was a Sunday night and the bar closed at 10.30pm (11pm any other night). If you wanted a drink after this time the only way could have one is by leaving your credit card details with them and it was charged to the room - bar prices weren't very cheap either). Apart from this no complaints and will go again.

i would highly recommend this hotel especially if your going to the secc ,as your literally situated at the bottom of the secc car park ,another plus was that there is a chinese restraunt situated at the bottom of the campanile car park and also an indian restraunt just round the corner ,as we were only there for one night we tried the indian quay it was perfect ,it also had a secure car park and after checking out we took a taxi to the shops which was only £5 which was well worth it easier than finding somewhere to park in glasgow ,the hotel itself is quite new and modern ,cant comment on the food there as we ate out ,the staff were very helpful and friendly ,the rooms were clean ,modern ,quite small but more than ample with the usual tea making facilities ,there was also pay tv

We were room only and when we tried to book an evening meal all tables had been reserved. Having said that we could have had a snack in the bar. It was close to the exhibition centre, just a short walk across the car park, which was ideal.
Rooms were OK but could have done with some upgrading re decor and soft furnishings eg carpet and chair seat was stained.
The hotel and outside area was quiet at night.
Staff were friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to use it again if I wished to stay overnight near to the SECC in Glasgow

Excellent location for SECC,complimentary passes for nearby new lesiure centre available.
Hotel give us a voucher for a indian resturant which entitled us to a free bottle of wine. Excellent!
Buffet Breakfast worth the extra.
Only negative was that the TV on STV /Sky had no sound.

I found the room to be very small, cramped in fact,. It was clean and well maintained and had all the amenities one woud expect, except no shelf in the shower to hold soaps shampoos etc.

Staff for the most part were very good except for a couple of front of house people who when confronted with a small medical emergency , involving having to find a power inverter for a CPC machine were not very helpful or seemingly very concerned about the potential health of a patron.

They referred us to a computer store which did not have what we needed and when we found a mall with a drugstore which carried what we neede, they told us it was located too far away for us to reach by Taxi to bother going to, when in fact it was only a 2 pound ride and quite close.

Their knowledge of the city did not seem that great and their rather cavalier attitude to what could have been a serious medical problem was a bit disconcerting,

The breakfasts were ok and thesrvice was ok one day and very good the next when the server offered to cook an egg to my wife's preference.

On balance our expectations were met and we would consider booking at a Campanile again, depending on what city it was in an where it was located. The Glasgow one was just a little bit out of the way for shopping and walking.

I wanted a hotel right next to the SECC. It was clean and comfortable and the rooms were of a very good standard. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The door key to the room kept losing its magnetism so be aware of this.
