Overlooking the Clyde and only a few minutes walk from Central Station, Euro Hostel has a prime city centre location. A new concept in budget rooms, ideal for students or large groups of friends or sports teams. Superb location with clean, basic accommodation. Not ideally suited to couples as there are no real double rooms. A modern, converted high-rise office block. The lobby is bright and functional. Cyber stations are posted at reception for Internet access. The rooms consist of either 4-bed dorms comprised of 4 bunks or twin rooms comprising 2 bunks. All rooms are en-suite with shower, W. C. and wash basin. They are clean and functional with duvets, fresh bed linen, toilet rolls are all provided, together with personal lockers. There are no double rooms. The twin/single rooms have televisions which can be used at a small cost. There is a dining room where continental breakfast is served and evening meals can be served. 1 km to the nearest station (central), 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 13 kms to the airport (glasgow), 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (st enochs), 20 kms to the airport (prestwick).
I would recommend it to others. The location is spot on; round the corner from Central station with The Goose and Wetherspoons within a few meters. It's not the Ritz but for what you pay for you get clean, comfortable accommodation (no frills) with your breakfast included so who can complain. I didn't realise thought that the private rooms aren't equipped with towels! so go prepared! Will defo be back as it makes it an overall inexpensive night out in the Town!

Friendly staff, good value, nice rooms! I was impressed with how clean and comfortable the rooms were in the hostel. It was great that the SECC was so close too. This place is perfect for young people and it provides everything you need.

Can't sleep with the Noise

Breakfast is really horrible. Toasts only. Why don't they just include no breakfast in the price? Noise is always there to wake you up at night to make sure you can charge up your energy for the next day trip. I expect it to be horrible anyway from the previous comments, but it is just even worse than I could imagine. You need to pay 1 pound to watch tv as well. I will never go back again!

yes, i recommend this hotel to others, especially for the quality/money ratio. frankly, i do not expect anything more from any other hotel, especially that, as a young guy when you are on holiday or a business trip, you spend little time in hotels. My expectations were fully met. The hotel provided me with everything i need, good service, friendly staff, young clientele, clean rooms...

For a cheap night in Glasgow, you can't beat it! I thought we had booked a twin room only to discover it was bunk beds!! However, we had a great evening in the city and followed by a night in the hostel (+ breakfast) . . . my only disappointment was that the bar was closed when we got back unlike across the road at the Jury . . .
