The offer from Skoosh was by far the best available on line better than the Malmaison's own offers. Having stayed in other Malmaison hotels I was looking forward to my stay in this one. However I was disappointed. I found the hotel dark, cramped and lacked atmosphere or any type of buzz that you would expect from a hotel of this standard and particularly on a Saturday night. The bar and bistro felt like an out of date basement bar rather than a trendy one. Breakfast was buffet style with a cooked option brought to your table both of which were just about average. The room was clean and nicely furnished with good amenities the staff were all very pleasant and helpful however this would not be enough to tempt me back to stay in the Malmaison Glasgow,

As usual for a Mal comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, a bit funky. A nice bar though small and crowded. Rooms clean and nicely furnished although small. Usual Mal facilities such as free broadband and great toiletries.
The room service meals were only average and the poached eggs at breakfast rock-hard after a15 min wait. Breakfast service was generally poor with a 10 minute wait after arrival for a coffee and staff off-hand and unwelcoming. The breakfast buffet was generally but nice pastries were badly crushed.
Overall I will still go to other Mals but look elsewhere in Glasgow.

a very stylish hotel, with nice sized rooms (for a big city), tastefully decorated. cons -The bed was incredibly hard -we had them deliver an extra duvet and slept on two of them and even then were a bit achy. a bit out of the way of the tourist strip and the metro, but Glasgow's a pretty small city, so it wasn't really a problem. We would likely return on our next trip.

My one very small complaint is that we were left to open our own bottle of wine, thankfully it was prosecco and we didn't have to go looking for a corkscrew. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
