The hotel is ideally located in the centre of the city, in the heart of the shopping, theatre and cultural district. The Royal Concert Hall and UGC Cinema complex is just a minute away. The hotel also houses the 'Oshi Spa' with four treatment rooms and an aromatherapy steam room. This is one of the best hotels in Glasgow, ideally located for all the city has to offer. The hotel has full WiFi access and safes are available for valuables at reception. This is a modern, purpose-built hotel with a stunning glass frontage. The hotel has an award-winning restaurant. 'Oshi' serves a range of fusion cuisine in relaxed surroundings and the food is of an extremely high quality. The large rooms are very well furnished in a contemporary style, with many added touches not typical in this standard of hotel. In addition to the standard facilities, all rooms are equipped with Sony PlayStation and CD player. The stylish bathrooms follow the same contemporary theme and are all equipped with a body jet power shower. Some rooms also have a bath (on request). All rooms are non smoking. The medium-sized lobby is very comfortable and welcoming with large, comfy sofas leading through to the relaxed 'B Bar', a favourite haunt of local Scottish celebrities. 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 18 kms to the airport (glasgow), 2 km to the nearest station (queen st station), 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station (buchanan street), 50 kms to the airport (prestwick), Centrally located, Close to the trade fair ground (secc).

Very nice ambiance, not up to snuff as a business hotel

As a business hotel, Park Inn Glasgow City Center is lacking (and dishonest). Their web site touts 'high speed internet' (see http://www.berkshiresbest.com/parkinn1.htm) and the welcome folder in the room suggests that wi-fi in each room is complimentary (see http://www.berkshiresbest.com/parkinn2.htm.htm) . Try US$20/day, if that's what you think is 'complimentary.' We didn't think so.

We enjoyed our stay at Park Inn Glasgow

Great central place to stay. Very handy for Buchanan Galleries and bus station but surprisingly quiet. Bed room nice and clean but decor in bathroom a bit tired. Reception staff very welcoming but bar very expensive and service rather slow.

The Park Inn really is in Central Glasgow

A great hotel if you don't know Glasgow well. You are right next to the bus station, parking is really easy across the street and the train station is just around the corner. Reception area and bar was great for meeting friends and very close to a wide range of restaurants, their own looked great, but we didn't get the chance to try it this visit. The room we stayed in was quiet and clean, if not a little smaller than we're used to. Not sure how comfortable it would be at the height of the summer (no obvious aircon), and don't expect a great view. This is central Glasgow.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — The quality of the rooms is not minimalist chic, but rather sparse and cheap. We switched rooms because the first room we were give looked directly into an above-ground parking garage and the shower and sink were clogged. The second room, while an improvement, had advanced mildew in the shower. Negatives aside, the location is ideal for both walking to the tourist sites and taking the Glasgow Flyer to the airport. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful.

very stylish hotel comfortable room exellent location minor flaw - wash basin faucet is so stylish it ceases to be functional
