This premier inn is in the process of being modernised. The rooms are acceptable with a large bed taking up most of the space. The public areas are fresh and modern with a 1st floor bar and restaurant. The breakfast was average advertised as scottish but was not really with no porridge, black pudding or tattie scones. The sausages were french herby style. Argyle Street is central , handy for Central Station. The area has a lot of demolishion and rebuilding going on. Can become a bit seedy at night time. But easy access to the main shopping areas and the Merchant City.
