We strongly recommend this hotel. We stayed at the Alixares Generalife middle of August, 2009. This is, as stated, a 4-star hotel. For 2 nights we paid $220 for three beds, which is as good as it can get. It is within a 5-minute walking distance to the entrance to the Alhambra. |

this place was a pleasant surprise, everything about it was great.the staff was freindly and helpful, the food was great and the setting was lovely. I should point out that it was great for us as we were only there to go to the Alhambra,(the hotel is almost opposite) it is however away from the town, which is a bus ride away. The prices were also very reasonable |

Having stayed at this hotel in February and thoroughly enjoyed it, we decided to go back in summer. We were not disappointed as the facilities, service and weather were fantastic! The hotel has a great swimming pool which doesn't get crowded. The only critisism was that there were raised tiles around the pool which were the same colour as the rest so you could not see the step easily, and quite a few people tripped as they went to the edge of the pool.Needs some kind of marking around raised part. Apart from that the rest of hotel was excellent. Very good breakfast and evening buffet- help yourselves to as much as you like ( possible 5 courses) for 14 euros. Also a bar-b-que until 2a.m. every night on the 3rd floor patio, although this was quite expensive for what you got. Hotel well worth a visit! |

I found the hotel, rooms, food to be of the highest quality. It was great to also have internet access while at the hotel. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and it more then met my expectations. The staff were helpful, pleasant and accomodating. |
