History at Citadel Hill!!

We had a great experience at the Citadel Hill Hotel... staff were friendly and prompt... loved the gents in the kilts! Also, we were given free parking as a bonus when we got there. Great stay!

Citadel Hotel Halifax

Hotel is in a gook location and has large clean rooms. The decor is somewhat dated. The staff was excellent. Good value for the money

The Citadel Halifax!

The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, which left its appearance less than stellar. However, every hotel renovates, and other than that the staff was exceptionally nice, I got a chance to work out in the gym facility, swam in the pool, and enjoyed the sauna. It's within 10-15 mins walking distance to most downtown locations. It's definitely an acceptable stay, and once the renovations are complete I would say for its value it's a very good hotel. I do stress the kindness of the staff, it stood out! Hope this helps!

Citadel Hotel Halifax

In effect, I was not able to make use of this booking, because my flight to Halifax arrived a day late. Still the hotel accommodated me (at a quite reasonable rate) and even tried to apply my Skoosh voucher to my stay. Because of the late arrival I also missed my connecting flight and had to stay an additional night in Halifax. The Citadel was booked but found me a room at the (more expensive) Lord Nelson and even paid my cab fare there. The two front desk persons I dealt with were particularly helpful and motivated. I'm sorry I don't remember their names. All in all a very pleasant stay, which made me forget the adversities of the trip to Halifax.

Had a very short stay here, but the rooms were nice and clean. Customer service was excellent, and the location can't be beat! I would recommend the Citadel Hotel for sure.
