If you go to Halifax, stay at Lord Nelson! It is a beautiful old hotel, well worth the money. And it is situated in a very nive part of the town.

We had a great experience at the Citadel Hill Hotel... staff were friendly and prompt... loved the gents in the kilts! Also, we were given free parking as a bonus when we got there. Great stay!

Enjoyed my stay. Room was a little dated but overall great location and very close to casino. Rate was competitive for value and other similar ones in Area. I would easily stay there again $20 night parking is steep but becoming standard

This is a brand new hotel, still in need of a few finishing touches (such as the opening of its recreation facilities). It's located on the edge of town, but is every bit as good as the bigger downtown chains. The rooms are bright and fresh, and the view over Chocolate Lake is wonderful to wake-up to. We ate breakfast in the hotel restauarant which is above average -- fresh food and good service. But above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. As long as their prices stay reasonable, I would consider this good value for the money.

The whole experience was amazing , they allowed us to check in early , and got upgraded to a waterview room , the bed was luxurious and sooo comfortable , we had an amazing stay . The hotel is linked with a pedway to the casino and to the metro center and alot of little shops , we loved it. you pay for what you get , it is pricey but recommend it especially for couples.
