Friendship is a 3 star hotel in Hangzhou. Located in the business district and near the famous beautiful West Lake. The railway station are within ten minutes' drive and the Wushan street is just eight minutes' walk away.
This is a building built up in 1986 with entrance from the Pinghai Road.
Hotel featurs the Revolving Restaurant on the 20F, which not only provide delicious western and Southeast Asia cuisine, but also a beautiful panoramic of the West Lake. The Chinese Restaurants serve Chinese cuisine and Hong Kong food. There is also a Japanese Restaurant.
Rooms are medium on average and are equipped with modern facilities. All rooms are in good condition. Some of them have a great view of the West Lake.
The lobby is large in size with some seats for travellers.

Spent one night at the Friendship Hotel in November, 2009. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice view, even though we booked the cheapest room. Many amenities were provided, including fresh fruit upon arrival. The decor was modern; furnishings looked new. The glass wall in the bathroom was a nice touch (you may close the shade for privacy, if desired).

The hotel's location excellent, close to the lake, in the city center.

The concierges were very helpful, even with my language barrier (I only speak English).

A sumptuous breakfast was served in the 20th floor revolving restaurant -- nice!

We look forward to going back to the Friendship!
