It's very convenient to the airport. I decided to stay here on my last night in helsinki since my flight was early in the morning. The bed was comfortable. The room was a lot bigger than the typical european hotels. It's a pretty and modern hotel. I liked it a lot. It was worth the money. The buffet breakfast was terrific compared to other buffet in scandinavian hotels. It's pretty much what I expected from Hilton. If you are looking for an airport hotel, this is it.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone transiting Helsinki, it is a good airport hotel for the following reasons: check-in was fast and simple, which means a lot when you are tired from a long flight; the hotel is clean, nicely decorated, the staff is helpful and smiling; the room was a standard twin bed room, the beds were comfortable to sleep in and I didn't hear noise coming from airport activity; good amenities, minibar, pay TV, iron board, anything you need. The breakfast was included in my room rate and it was very good, wide variety, bread, cereals, fruit, eggs, saute mushrooms (yum!), cheese, meat, etc. I got it at a much lower rate from skoosh so I definately think it was good value for money, my expectations were met and I had no problem whatsoever with the hotel or the skoosh voucher.

The Hilton at the Helsinki Airport was great! It's about a 5 min. walk from the terminal. It's beautifully designed - no surprise, being in Finland! - the lobby is simple and elegant - birch trees along the walls and a welcoming front desk. The staff was very pleasant. Our room was small but the details were wonderful - wood floors, nice linens with colorful pillows, the bathroom was very modern with etched windows looking into the bedroom. Breakfast was good and served in a bright, comfortable room. It was expensive but that's Scandinavia! I would recommend it if you are looking for a nice place to stay near the airport.
