In the forest zone, on the board of a lake, not too expensive, large and good rooms.

We discovered Rantapuisto two years ago and stayed there several times. Location is splendid - 15 minutes from city center and you are on the beautiful seashore, surrounded by pine trees forest. Complete quietness around. Clean nature. Wonderful view. Pretty spacey rooms. Huge windows looking on the gulf. Free parking near the building. What can be better?

I certainly recommend to stay in this hotel especially if you travel by car (although the metro station is not very far from it as well).
A good location: 15 km or 10 minutes by car from Helsinki city center
It is situated in the natural park at the beautiful bay.
Very good and big sauna, very delicious breakfast!
Comfortable and quiet atmosphere.
The staff speaks russian.

The only minuses for me:
- standard rooms for 2 persons are only twins (2 separate beds which can be although put together) and if you wish to have a 1 big bed it will be a single room and therefore not very spacious
- no bicycles for rent

The only thing missing is a shuttle bus from the hotel to the metro station.
