Discover Helsinki in a different way by staying at the Rantapuisto hotel! Located within a forest, near the beach with amazing landscapes and only 20 minutes away from the city centre. The 3 star hotel is more a resort than a hotel, offering a sauna, private beach, and a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner and of course very comfortable rooms, all with television and direct dial telephone. The city centre can be easily reached by public transport and car parking is available. The Rantapuisto is a very nice place to stay, to relax and unwind from the hustle and bustle of the centre. (Guests booking a double room should note that these will consist of twin bedding.)
Considering the three star category, Hotel Rantapuisto exceeded our expectations. It was not luxurious; but nice and clean and everything we could wish was there. The location is excellent, in a forest by the seashore, with beautiful view from rooms and with quiet and relaxing surroundings. Public transport is available: A Metro station is 20 min walk away, but bus to the station is available once in an hour from the hotel (only weekdays). More frequent busses is 10 minutes away. A pleasent and relaxing stay and good value for money.

Good value for money. Clean. Situation spelnded: hotel was surrounded by beautifull nature and sea. Breakfast was normal. Restaurant in hotel was poor. Menu was short and prices were high because the food was nothing.

The Rantapuisto Hotel in Helsinki is quiet hotel very good for family vacation. It is located on the shore bay and it is surrounded by the forest. Breakfast is обильный. The room was clear and enough big. The personnel are friendly

The hotel is situated right at the sea shore, in a beautiful pinewood. Though you can't see the open sea, just an archipelago, the view is very pleasant. You absolutely don't feel you're in the city, it seems to be a calm forest. On the other hand, you're 10min to drive to the biggest shopping center Itaekeskus and 30min to the center of the city or to the airport. The breakfast was not so luxury, but lavish and manifold enough. We had more than we expected for 62EUR we paid. The only thing that can be slightly disappointing is audibility: if you have fidgety neighbors, it would be uneasy to sleep. Fortunately our neighbors next door fell asleep more or less soon, but we heard their loud speaking.

Staying at Rantapuisto was the best part of our trip. The view from our room was breathtaking, the staff was really friendly, the restaurant was good and not too expensive (compared with Helsinki prices), and the complex itself is beautifully designed. It's worth walking in the nearby woods, and try to make it back in time for the sauna one day while you're there.
