We would definitely reccomend this hotel. The hotel is pretty unique, being a converted prison. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The staff are very friendly. The hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and has the benefit of parking (at an extra cost) within it's own perimetre wall. Although being situated in a quiet area the hotel is still only a short walking distance to the city centre. The price we paid through Skoosh was very reasonable when compared to other hotels of a similar standard. Our expectations were met and we would use the hotel again when visiting Helsinki.

The interior design of this hotel is sensational: exquisite glass and wood, exciting furniture, especially in the lobby, a great sense of light and space. Everything is in immaculate condition - it's like stepping into a 1950's movie set.
Oh - and the staff are friendly and speak excellent English, the breakfast offers a wide choice (Continental style) and the location could not be more convenient for the city, railway station and airport bus.

This is a great place to stay if you want to walk around the city and has all the facilities to make you comfortable. The staff were very helpful, the buffet breakfast was excellent, the room was spacious, quiet and well-appointed, the cost was appropriate and all in all it was what I hoped for....except: on some occasions the level of conversational noise considered acceptable in the main restaurant was disappointing - I really would have preferred to hear my own companion speak rather than hear every word of a group on the other side of the room!

Small room, very small bathroom, small sauna. Clean. Good Wi-Fi, large but not very tasty breakfests. Named "designers" but only a little strange equiped rooms.
Acceptable but nothing special for this price.

The hotel is great! Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very good location. In the sauna were not included.

I would recommend GLO Kuuvi to my friends

Good location, nice rooms, tasty breakfast.

Only negative the bath design, cannot close the bathroom door.

GLO Art is an exceptionally well designed hotel with modern, stylish, and clean rooms that is still in the mid-price range. The staff is quite polite and all of this, combined with the fresh breakfast in the morning makes this an exceptional value.

Very nice high standard boutique hotel, the only minus would be that there is no real parking belonging to the hotel.
Except this, everything went smooth, staff was nice and efficient, lovely rooms and great breakfast.
Would/will definitely stay there again.

The hotel has a good price/quality ratio and it is in the center of the city close to all must views.
Rooms are standard and OK. Clean and everything you need is included.
Expectations absolutely met.

The room was nice but quite basic with OK bathroom facilities. The breakfast was excellent! A good location if you want to go see a concert at the Olympic Stadium or the Hartwall Arena. Good value for money through Skoosh, unacceptably high prices if booked directly through the hotel website.

The desk staff were very helfpul, and I would recommend this hotel as a reasonably priced option in Helsinki. It is near the harbour and only a short walk to the main square. Sadly, even thought it is near the sea, there aren't sea views. Breakfast was good, although a little difficult to find a seat at peak times.

Stayed 1 night in April. Location was excellent, rooms were clean and service was good. The quality was good as Scandic Hotels usually have.

Extra points for breakfast:healthy choice and organic food but also bacon if you prefer.

Great location in the city center, easy access to concert and music hall, the Finlandia -house, Opera, art museums and the Töölö Bay with great outdoor activity possibilities.

Hotel will need soon some refurbishments but it still OK with decor etc. Everything functions well, however. Restaurant downstairs is nice bar closes early (as most lobby bars in Finland)

Fantastic gym, a reason by itself to come to this hotel.

Not bad, not great. The room was a normal - modest and breakfast in the ordinary, not brilliant. Too far from Helsinki city center but trolley nr 6 is easy access to hotel from railway station (10 min).
